Rhode Island College offers an exciting dance program that combines a strong academic curriculum with performance and training opportunities. Our pre-professional dance company with choreography provided by celebrated guest choreographers in residence throughout the year, provides the networking and professional level training dancers deserve. The program encourages individual discipline, creativity, and expression by utilizing three aspects; style and technique, composition and performance, and history and theory. Our BA in Dance Performance program makes it relatively easy to double major or combine a major in one program and a minor in dance.
